I'm tired of hearing all these fucking children who claims that every MMORPG that comes out after 2005 is a WoW-ripoff. It pisses me off, seriously, children go play your cartoon network game and do us a favour and never compare any game to WoW. wow didn't invent mmorpgs you know... Just that its the first mmo that you played doesn't mean that they invented it. In fact there is almost nothing original in wow that wasn't already in other games.
Hey, I guess that since youre an aion beta player, you can answer my question.(if you want to ofc :D) Whenever I look up a pvp vid, the PvP seems very static in comparation to wow... what I liked about wow pvp was that you move alot, and I wonder, is aion pvp static or moving a lot?
Aion gives bonuses if you move during combat. Little arrows appear above your skill bar depending on how you move. If you move forward your attack increases. If you move side to side (strafing) your dodge increases. If you move back I believe your parry increases.
Parry + Block increases when you move back wards. Attack is decreased. Moving forward your attack increases your Phys. Def. decreases aswell as magic resistance. side to side your Evasion is increased and Attack is Decreased.
Depends. Moving can have its disadvantages. Generally tho moving gives you different stat bonuses or reductions see my other comment. WoW PvP sucks compared to Aion (In my honest opinion of course. I played wow for 4 years.) Sometimes moving a lot and rotating camera to compensate for all the moving can get me dizzy so if its MASS PvP I don't think it matters as much. In duels tho I would move according to what stats I need reduced / increased.

On the note of rip offs... Let me remark on the ripoff that WoW is of EQ(ONE), the codifier of all MMORPG's since release.
So in fact every one of the 3d MMORPGs are ripping off EverQuest.

Any area that has PvP is 1 channel. As are cities.
