Almost as funny as Carlin's comments are the lame comments from us and I believe we need to remember that. He was a pretty honest witness to his times and if he offended any of us - good! It made us think IT GOT A REACTION which is the purpose of his efforts. At doing what he did, there were times when he was a Rembrandt, a Joe Dimaggio, a Martin Luthor King, our next door neighbour and importantly our conscience.
