This is a horrible tutorial. You didn't explain one thing about "HOW" to use Freemind, you jus talked about it, what it was, and how 'YOU' use it. Pointless waste of time.

You might like to know that there's a new improved and fully compatible version of Freemind - FREEPLANE. I've tried it and it's even better than Freemind (produced by some of the same team who broke away). And yes - it's FREE! You are my Hero lol.Thanks to you I have this great program freeplane it is so much better than freemind.I was having a hard time because I couldn't re-size image in freemind. So I was looking for a plugin but I didn't find a guide on google so I looked in yourtube if someone had post a video on installing plugins on freemind.with Freeplane I can resize the pics and not only that when I click on them it opens photo viewer.

@StopFramEmotion Freeplane is still in geek mode. Its support is mostly populated by developers and not everyday joes.

Thanks! That was interesting. Two improvement ideas:

1) When it ended I was disappointed as there were not an example which attributes are best to use and e.g. how you use it in a day -- got the idea well, but was expecting to see the practical example also.

2) Run it through a bit quicker (10 mins was quite much especially as I knew Freemind)

However, big thanks, it was interesting!

I've got a freemind template file available for download at the original blog post I made on the topic on our blog. It has my initial list of attributes and a suggestion for a daily workflow. Once I have a bit more experience with the system I'll post another (shorter) video with my findings.
