    dude. i was in high school doing an experiment. if you want information on actual results, contact your local fish and game. dont diss our elders. theyre just saying what they remember on what happened to them and what was happening. dont be a douche.

    Now let me get this straight... "Too warm in the winter, too cold in the spring" "Too much wind" and "The ice breakup is all wimpy".

    I don't want to insult anyone's elders, but this is incoherent. Is there anyone in these places who takes actual notes on when certain birds appear or when the ice breaks up? I know the weather and game from year to year can be very capricious in the Far North. That's why there are so many grim famine tales from the Bad Old Days.

  • Nice interviews with elders in Unalakleet. These are the people who are witnessing climate change. If only the world would listen to them!
