  • Shame this poor video is the only one for such a great song

  • You can't hide greatness. And...is that Klemchik on drums?

  • I loved Dino Danelli's drums, I thought Eddie Brigati was perfect for some songs, And I came to believe that Gene Cornish was probably one of the underrated rhythm guitarists of the era. But there is, to me, no question who was the heart and soul of The Rascals. This guy still sounds great. His album, Dreams in Motion, from mid 1990s is an overlooked gem.

  • It's a beautiful morning every morning when this lovely, lovely world has Felix singing his soul that captivates such mesmerizing energy...Do you Feel it?!

Just Come on Up because your Love Is A Beautiful Thing!

    Amore Sweet Paisano!

    Diane

  • Nothing serious. Felix is simply the slickest performer who ever set foot on the earth.

  • Perhaps the greatest American Band ever....

  • I'll never tire of this melody, it's simply beautiful

  • Where's Miles?

  • wicked song legendary

  • how can people just walk about while Felix the LEGEND is singing......no respect and no taste! Go Felix......soulful, one of a kind!

  • In the words of Little Steven the Rascals were the first rock and roll band

  • the Rascals were from the Newark NJ area

  • Probably removed the Ed Sullivan clips on account of them being used on the PBS special tonite (2Dec09). And to 156038 - It was the first tune I heard after graduating BAsic Training at Dix in May '68Try going without music for 2 months back in the day - bet you couldn't hack that either. .

  • felix awesome

  • @cetialpha10 - You must be very young - too bad you missed out on such a great era.

  • How well I remember this song! It was 1969 and they were playing it at the draft board! How ironic! Didn't have to go, phew.

  • The videos of them on Ed Sullivan show and other shows have been removed from You Tube..for some reason.

  • That's too bad, they were awesome performances. Especially Good Lovin on, I think the Mike Douglas show. Someone will put them back up

  • I'm wondering why this is the only video of Beautiful Morning. I'd rather see Sullivan!

  • my cousin eddie was in the origional young rascals. eddie brigati

  • lol, so was his brother David, do you remember him? They all lived in the same house in the 70's and 80's. I moved out of the area soon after that.

  • I think they lived in Rochester, NY...George Jordan9 my fiance's brother) set up their equipment...think they toured with the Brass Buttons in Puerto Rico late 60's..great guys, great music!

  • Looks like he's sitting on an amp or something. The conga stand couldn't hold him up if he were sitting on one side of it...

  • hey i know felix personally, his fience is my best friends mom

  • I don't see anyone sitting on instruments.

  • Yo! what-up with the conga's. music is not complete with the conga's,yo.

and who the fuck sits on instruments?

  • I need more cowbell!!!!

  • just adds the right touch....doesn't it?

  • Great job Felix - would have been exceptional if the bongo player had been PLAYING them (as in the original) instead of SITTING on them!

    Great job anyways.

  • makes me remember CBS FM and WABC AM in NYC with Cousin Brucie and Dan Ingram

  • What happened to the ORIGINAL

    RASCALS ?

I still like what I hear now, but what

    happened that they stopped making

music together ? I play at least 2 or their

    recordings daily.

  • They've split into this group and the New rRascals - who just played in Schenectady, NY last Saturday. I think that is Gene, the guitarist, and Dino the drummer, but not sure. Couldn't tell you why though - probably the usual ego problems and "artistic differences"

  • @nuttyprofessor64 Well Spanky ..is dead..As are Alfalfa,and Buckwheat.

  • This song immediately reminds me of cutting junior high school, going to Central Park..and getting stoned on a boiling hot day one summer.

Not a care in the world...and the Tea Party was something my granny had on a sunday evening.

  • Its a beautiful moooooooooooooooooorning!

  • i was there that day at this concert it was great

  • this is gonna be my alarm

  • It's my B-day today!

What a great way to wake and hear this song!!

  • Wow.. lucky people, beautiful morning, great music

  • Beautiful! I sent this out to friends on this Valentine's Day! Thank you. I feel great!

  • i love this song :$ when jd from scrubs singd this song when laverne died :( hahah

  • He still rocks!

  • Still has ALL of it....Felix.

Heard Brigati on another Vid.......Please NO reunion. He's toast. His brother Dave sang on all the records anyway...it wasn't;t Eddie's voice,

  • Felix's new Rascals are a far cry from the original Rascals, a real disappointment to myself and others who remember the Young Rascals from the 60's. Saw the new imposter Rascals in Bridgewater, N.J. at the Somerset Patriots baseball stadium. They played on the same night as Blood Sweat & Tears along with Southside Johnny. Although I never really cared for BS&T they impressed me more so then Felix's new Rascals. Out of the 3 groups Southside Johnny definitely brought the house down that night.

  • Great, he's still got the voice!

  • This was a very nice performance!!

  • ..beautiful!

  • I hate that digital synth crap. Felix needs to play only the B-3 live.

  • Man, Felix still has the chops. Beautiful. I really wished that I could crawl into the video though and knock a few heads together of all the people milling around, jabbering, to kindly STFU and listen to the man sing!!

  • yeah...the dorks...they probably don't even realize they are watching a rock legend at work here. They probably think it is some local cover band and can't even tell the difference.

  • God bless us all! What a treat! Thanks!!!

  • god blessed you with a beautiful voice felix! rock on!! my man!!

  • ALL YOU GUYS still sing and rock, the whole band dudes.

  • True on those pipes. Old rich people don't rock out? Wish I was dancing on that boat. The young dude w/baseball cap wants to rock.

  • Entropy64 said Felix is the nicest guy on earth. Checkout entropy64's version of Beautiful Morning with Felix singing and playing B3!!!! On youtube

  • I checked it out - it is great! I suggest everyone do the same.

  • Wow he still has it. I can remember seeing him at Pirates World in Florida all those years ago with my first love.

Thanks for posting this. Love the memories that came flooding back.

  • Wow!! He still has he same voice after all those years!! Would love to see him concert one day?

  • Very surprise!! he's good & fine now. I'd like to see his playing & singing in live performance. Thanks!

  • This song reminds me of my youth and when I was first in love.

  • Man, the years have been kind to Felix's pipes. Great to hear him!

  • played this song over and over the day I left Vietnam.

  • This song , just make me wery wery happy, i first heard it on "the king of queens"...

and then i look for "It's a Beautiful Morning " and there its was.... ( on you tube) iám gonna to hear it every morning when i drive to work, great work. best regards. from nuller

  • Felix, you are still the man with the voice . What a great performer and musician you are and allways have been. I hope these young cats see this and learn from you. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG.

  • Goodonya Felix, you've lost nothing over the years, still as brilliant as ever. Why didn't the Rascals come to Sydney to perform is beyond me. You'd have been a smash hit here too.

  • Felix sounds as good as ever but I can do without the Korg.

  • One of my all favorite groups..what beautiful harmony they had..better than any groups..sad but true.'How Can I Sure' is a masterpiece.

  • Yeah - look here on youtube for some of their '60's TV appearances on shows like Hullabaloo or the Mike Douglas show. Fantastic! (if you can get past the little Lord Fauntleroy costumes) Alice's radio show is cool! That reminds me, I've never looked up any Alice Coper videos on here - off I go...

  • Saw Felix a week ago....talked with him...what a GENTLEMAN! Too bad Eddie, Dino, and Gene can't get it back together

  • Alice Cooper, on his radio show of 11-16-07, mentioned that along with Jimmi Hendrix, The Rascals were one of the best live acts, in his opinion. A big tip of the cap by Alice! It made me check out this site to see.

  • I love The Rascals. It's nice to hear his voice sounding great after all these years!

  • Wow! He sounds great..I love this song....Thanks.

  • Words can not describe this man this song and all his music thanks for sharing!!! keep on rocking Felix !!!

  • I love this ong, soo good :D

  • Man, i grew up on the Rascals.

It's sad to see hicks just walk by a legendary performer... I guess they wouldn't be hicks if they could fully appreciate the music,-)

    Rock on Felix!

  • I don't know why people get the impression people are ignoring him - everybody showed up to see him, and from where I sat - (behind the camera) everyone was paying attention or trying to find a seat

  • Albany, NY - Riverfront Park (on the Hudson River)

  • Felix sounds awesome....His dad was a dentist down the block from me when I was a kid in the Bronx. He gave me a ride in his convertible with a bunch of my friends when I was 10 years old. What a cool dude...

  • Good story! He sounded great at this show.

  • Can you tell me where this show was??
