$250 million for the DFW connector was paid for by the stimulus package(taxpayer funded) yet it will nonetheless still be a "permanent toll road in order to reduce congestion", when the bond was paid off in the 70s for the old DFW turnpike, the toll booths were removed and it became part of I-30, no longer is that the case, they're telling us taxpayer funded roads will be continue tolled forever - that is the very definition of fascist, the merging of State and corporate interests

This is BLATANT ABUSE of our legal system as well as our TAX PAID LAW ENFORCEMENT RESOURCES as a threat to collect what is effectively EXTORTION.

It's pretty obvious that State Government & the NTTA have been in bed together for quite a few years. Why is it the taxpayer who's getting screwed.

Get the NTTA out of TX and give us back our TAX PAID FREEWAYS.

What the NTTA does is nothing short of STATE SANCTIONED EXTORTION.

They build a toll road that OCCUPIES THE SPACE WHERE A TAX PAID FREEWAY SHOULD BE. And THAT'S why it's a necessity and not an option.

Now that they've got the Zip Cash system in place in system they can legally, (although not constitutionally), JAIL THE OWNER OF A VEHICLE EVEN IF THEY WERE NOT PRESENT WHEN A TOLL BOOTH WAS RUN.

I call BULL on the NTTA!

It is NOT an option for most. As you stated it took you twice as long avoiding the toll road. Well, your Honor, perhaps you have twice the time and can afford twice the fuel cost but most of us lower & middle class citizens can't. So we're FORCED to pay extortion money to a private company that has yet to have their "administrative fees" investigated.
