  • haha, I love how someone said Czarnecki has no feeling for the piece (he's done it for 3 years in a row now...)

By the way, everyone in this video is now either a junior or a senior.

The stage band has no freshmen, 3 sophomores I believe (one on piano, one on bells, one on trombone)

There is one junior trombone I think. Can't remember trumpets. All saxophones are seniors except for Tyler.

Looking foward to Pops and Night of Jazz !!

  • way too fast. And the drums are wrong.. :P

  • What's the hurry?

  • A Bit too fast.. and the conductor has no feeling for the piece.. he needed to show some punch .. BUt other then that nice rendition..

  • Whoever says that American children are slackers or whatever people say. This is proof that children are good all you have to do is guide them in the right direction.

  • IMPROVED UPON WHAT VEHICLE MAde!

  • Keep on trying..

  • These kids do a great job on this song.

  • ugh I really wished that the people would have saved all the clapping til the end

  • REALLY rushed. slow the pace down. but pretty good. we just played this song in a parade today, the highschool band. :) we went through the town, and it was really jazzy sounding. this would sound more jazzy with a slower pace.

  • While it is rather fast, nevertheless it's great to educate the youth of today regarding the classics of yesteryear ! Don't blame the kids on the speed ..........blame the teacher! The band are brilliant!

  • Man this is great for the kids only being 7th and 8th graders!!!!

  • I am playing this song year for the same school as the one in this video.

I am Alto 1! This song rocks.

  • Wish I could have attended a school that taught music

  • i go to the school and play in the jazz band... he chose the song twice u to years lol playingthe song in a month for this same school....

  • way too fast, i've played this with my jazz group and it sounds so much better at it's original speed

  • corvette

  • good job

  • too fast

  • Getting faster by the second !!! It's still not that bad !!! Just a bit slower would be perfect !!

  • This is absolutely horrible!!!! They butchered the song by playing the tempo waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to fast!!! I mean sheesh, where's the fire boys??????

  • agreed

  • Well done!

  • well played!

your guitarist is unreal... amazing job.

Great trombone and tenor sax solo's aswell :)

  • Sounds like it is about to fall apart.

  • no feeling!

  • yur trombone playr is rly good. ours had just started like the week before and was our only trombone playre so the solo didnt go so well.

  • U GUYS R RLY GOOD!!!! but maybe shoulda slowed it down a lil.

  • my marching band is honestly better no offense plus we are playing this song with no music what so ever i mean we play by ear and for 2 weeks we are doing good already got the whole thing memorized and have the drill on the field o yea i play trumpet and got the 1 main solo in this song

  • shut up, dont care

  • My Marching band is playing it, and using a Trombone for the solo, whict is pretty awsome sounding

  • way to fast!!!!some ppl are getting lost u can tell.

  • OUR BAND IS BEST !!!!!!!!

  • Our big band is playing this song, too. I think we're as good as them. Maybe not our guitarist but the rest is quite nice :)

Great Song and great perfomance :)

  • Sweet. My schools doing this too. Guitar soloing for its fun. I like how he sort of shreds it :P

  • way 2 fast

  • Czar!

  • Middle school! O.o Really? Wow thats pretty good!

  • i think its too fast but other than that its good

  • This band sounds amazing for middle school. I've heard high school bands that don't sound nearly this good. The horns are really on pitch and the rhythm is good for such young players.

  • I think that the guitarist should have been keeping a beat while he was soloing. He probably should have not played so many notes. He got really really off

  • so true man

  • I think Mr. Z should have conducted the whole thing, they couldn't stay in time but still good, but the soloists definitely should have memorized there parts.

  • well u obviously go to millburn middle. And it's Mr.C

  • I never knew how to spell his name.

  • @salsadestroyer Millburn must be a crappy school since most of you spell as about as well as a third grade dropout with Down syndrome.

  • The guitar solo isn't even close to the original by Jim Peterik. It's on Youtube, so check it out to see how it's supposed to be played.

  • the millburn middle school orchestra is better, but i still think that millburn band is pretty good. especially cause it is my school

  • i think there equal.

  • whatever

  • It would be alot better if you would pick a tempo :) but still really good, especially for a middle school...what grades does this entail?

  • 8th and 7th

  • Thats awesome, congrats

  • thats amazing if this just grade 7 and 8's. great job

  • It's actually not far off the original, which is kind of loose. I think these kids do a great job for being so young. I just happened to find this while looking for the Ides of March version.

  • i did crummy on this too...

  • u do crummy on everything, nick. Just kidding.

  • irs true
