汚れのない人、清くて咎のない人をそこなう者がいるならば、その­わざわいはかえってその浅はかな人に至る。風に逆らって細かい塵­を投げると（その人に戻ってくる）ように。

125. If a man offend a harmless, pure, and innocent person, the evil falls back upon that fool, like light dust thrown up against the wind.

max müller's translation of the dhammapada was published in 1881!!! there have been many more accurate translations since that time...
