@nodinetv Hi, this may be due to your soundcards latency. You should adjust the settings in the Audio Settings. Keep the Audio Settings window open while you hit the keys to see how it responds as you change the values of the latency.

I have also found a technique that works if your just doing 1 bit at a time. If you just highlight the area that you want in red, then you click and drag it, you can do the same thing. both techniques work good...

@MrWade1994 You should connect your audio output from the keyboard into your soundcard then you want to make sure you're recording your soundcards Stereo Mix or Wave Out. This is different on all computers so I'm not sure what yours would say. Then you want to activate recording with ASIO selected of course then record into the Playlist or Edison. Check out some of the other videos I've produced to learn how to do this.

the markers mark wherever you are in the music. like if u highlight an area, the marker gets put at the start of the highlight. if it's not paused and stop is hit after each marking, default is going to be at the beginning of the track and it moves the already placed markers.

there is a far quicker way of creating markers automatically by letting fruity detect the transients in the waveform. right click on the wave in edison, go to tools > auto-slicing > then choose either dull, medium or sharp slicing, or one of the other 3 options depending on what audio material you are dealing with. medium usually does the job pretty well (shortcut = alt-s)

Yes that is a far quicker way of slicing and creating markers however when doing so, you'll have to manually move the markers to the points that you'd want the chops to be if it werent a drumkit or sample with sharp waveform edges. This video demonstrates slicing a sample manually to get a more accurate result when dealing with 'dull' samples.
