I've been using JV-Tek for years, though I admit, I'm really only just getting my technique perfected. It IS simple... if your land is flat, or you don't mind sinking to your ankles. The more complex your surface, the more difficult this can become. The only specific problem with ground textured with this tool is, bounding boxes make rezzing other objects very difficult, but I usually find the trade-off in stunning appearance is more than worth the effort!
I have over 50 residents on my sims and a few times a month I get asked if they can change the ground texture just on their land or in a small area of their land. You can be sure now I will give them GOOD news to check this out.
I bought this a few weeks ago and it really is just this simple. The interface is foolproof and really well thought out, and the results are as nice as you see here. I love it! Great work!
I have a whole quatr sim to do and its going to be fidely how easy is it really on mountains and other rathr od places to texture?

Can easily be done by using alpha textures over landmapped prims, takes a bit of photoshop work but its very definately doable.
