Yes man.. tears here too.... As a 9 yr old i watched ind v pak, my first cricket match and india beat pak in aus in the 92 wc. The game caught my fancy. 96 looked as if its ours, kamblis tears were indias picture for 96 wc. 99 wc we were abysmal. 03 tantalisingly close. 07 favourites, but probably the worst ever wc, but maybe the lull before the storm... 2011 again the favourites but the way india were playin in the first half, i was sceptical... I think they peaked at the right time.. Jai hind!
@georgerd21 You can;t just BUY the WORLD CUP. It has to be earned and India earned it! We deserved to win that World Cup! And as for the slums you're on about, there are always going to be people that are less fortunate than us, not just in India, but all over the world. Just because you saw a bloody movie about it doesn't mean that you suddenly know everything about my country! So before you point, make sure that YOUR fingers are clean and that you have your facts straight!

it was my first world cup and my 1st match was australia vs india ( this world cup ) so bassically i have never seen india loosing ! i dont even know the the value of this much awaited world cup but still cried horribly ! wonderfull ; unforgetable experience!
