  • For comparison in "light" and "flying" allegro, see the video of someone who was trained to get heels down yet is truly flying: search for

""Explosive" Natalia Osipova - Le Corsaire variation and coda" on youtube.

But it is all a matter of taste. This girl has obviously worked hard and has developed according to the Balanchine style as it is taught.

  • @MajorBunHead Most of their videos do, and their website says "building on balanchine" So i'm guessing it's balanchine ;P

  • is she glissadeing at 0:09??

  • @CmeUno no, I can't spell it right but she is simply doing a tombe pas de bourre to the front.

  • i love how her arms are very nice and stable

  • She is flying....wow

  • @tokyopiglet yes, absolutly.!!

  • I don't think anything was wrong with that at all

    Great job

  • It's not that hard i can do itt

  • great jumps, but her wrists were incredibly floppy

  • her hands aren't floppy they are flowing ;)

  • well they're waaayy too flowing.

  • well, I like her hands. [; Everyone has different opinions :)

  • omfg

    seriously, Shut the fuck up.

  • stick your plie landing so that both heels touch the ground. great job though.

  • She's not putting both heels on the ground on purpose, as this is a demonstration of Balanchine technique. Not putting your heels down right away actually gives you a much lighter, better petit allegro.
