@aja908 use the set move route command and use the button that says move toward player but make sure the drop down menu in the upper left says "this event"
Also, I think I might have figured out how to list the names of the party members. The same way you list character name, '/[1]', only have that party members number.
thought of better wording. A kind of 'party selection'.
example: There's a room with a group of people, and you can choose which four are in your active party. But when you come across someone out in the game world that wants to help you, you can either put them into your party right away, or send them back to the room, where they'll show up.
Would it need to just be a new map that includes the character? And if so, how would I make it to where that is the only map that the player goes to?
That's pretty cool. But here's a question. What if whenever we take bob out of the party, we want to send him back to where he was in the first place, so that we could get him back.
Something like switching out whoever is in the party, depending on who the player wants to take with them on a mission.
In addition to it, (something that I just thought of), what if you had a full party already? How would you present the option of who the new member would replace? Would it just be a normal text based choice a or b? Or could it be done to actually list the names of whoever is in currently in the party?
how to just have 1 in party? i want just 1 hero in me party...
