the first starship troopers was in the mid 90's and that movie inspired special effects like what we see today....saying "oh it was 90's quality" is no reason why this had to be the all time worst movie ever made in human history....pshhhh 90's smindies ....titanic was made the same year 1997 and it was well titanic....enough said...you can't hide the fact that this movie is a mistake in every way.

I don't quite understand people defending this movie because it was made in the 90's, I was 12 years old when this movie came out and it still sucked. Haha oh you spoiled brats gowing up with DVD's. Back in my day, when this came out, you were lucky if the special effects weren't paper cutouts held up in front of the camera. And we fuckin loved it baby. I watched this so much, the VHS wore out and I alway had to sit and watch it through that static shit. This was as good as it got back then. That said, I don't think the acting EVER took priority during the casting of the Mortal Kombat movies. This is about babes and blood, nothing more.
