Squarepusher is exactly correct. Marc Stevens and other voluntaryist libertarians are the closest that anything comes to a political movement that favors truth and individual freedom, and they do that by empowering the individual to protect themselves. Nonetheless, there are good ideas within movements, such as freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom to own and keep property, freedom to travel, etc...
@CarolineNJake You've missed the most beautiful romance of all, the political philosophy that is riskiest because it is the most ethical, the universal uplifter and the great leveler: My darling misunderstood anarchy.
an extraordinary musician, i'be been listen to him for a couple of months and it's one of my favorite already, this guy's creativity and love for music are a trully inspiration ,...and lots of study as well
@anticimexxx I actually preffer people that acts this way (also like The Panacea) connecting so well with the crowd. I don't like static DJs that mean nothing when they're behind 2 turntables and infront of a crowd. Leave the technicism for the studio.
So true - as soon as there's a movement or genre you can pin a label on the MTV suits try to dumb it down for the masses and repackage it stripped of its meaningful substance.
That said, Squarepusher is a genius artistic visionary who has inspired me for a decade now (since the day my friend insisted I borrow his "Big Loada" CD). If genuine music like Squarepusher's got the kind of exposure the current MTV crap gets, the world would be a better place. But I guess that's just the paradox of it.

Dimotane Co. - what I would give to be right in front of a massive speaker while Squarepusher is playing that live.

Haha, did he just introduce himself? Does anyone know what kind of programs he runs these days on his comp?
bw120205 4 years ago
He runs Ableton Live (among many others, I'm sure). So does Luke Vibert and I believe Jamie Lidell does as well.
