They are probably one of the best live bands to ever live; however, I don't consider myself a member of the KISS Army, but I do enjoy their work. Their stage presence is outstanding.
Gene is a great bassist, but i think John "thunderfingers" Entwistle from The Who plays way better then Gene. And he could make one hell of a show with the use of blood or flying. Dont get me wrong i love KISS, i saw them in Arnhem 18-06-'10, but John is more skilled then Gene. But again you cant compare them

I'm a huge KISS fan but I must disagree that Gene is the best bass player ever, Lemmy Kilmister is a god of metal and I think is as good or possibly better bassist. The first few minutes with the green light on Gene, with the blood, and the demon persona is what makes Kiss incredible. It's stuff like this that makes Kiss great. The show they put on for the crowd is really amazing.

The first few minutes with the green light on Gene, with the blood, and the demon persona is what makes Kiss incredible. It's stuff like this that makes Kiss great. The show they put on for the crowd is really amazing.
