Phil Spector 's "Wall of Sound" magically comes alive on this brilliant cover of Bob D. " Love minus Zero". Just listen carefully the orquestation, the back up singers and Eddie' s voice. All mix perfectly to create musical magic. Great Job, guys and Thank you!
Thi is the best rendition of the Dyllan cover that I have heard. Mr. Hodges Knew ,somehow, to bring the poetry and emotion that Bob Dyllan himself could not.
A nice version of the song. Eddie Hodges is a talented singer. I saw him in episode #98 of The Dick Van Dyke Show from 1964 "The Lady and the Babysitter" and he was very good.
This Bob Dylan song was later recorded very well by Rick Nelson. In November 1965 it became the last of Eddie Hodges five 1961-5 hits, reaching only #134 nationally. Hodges was a star of stage musicals before he was ten and as a young teen recorded such memorable hits as "I'm Gonna Knock on Your Door," "(Girls Girls Girls) Made To Love") and "New Orleans.".
