Most people don't know what a Kangal is, which makes banning them a bit idiotic. I've seen a video in which different LGD breeds (including Kangals) were fought against Pit Bulls. Though I hope never to see another such video, it didn't take long for the Pits to be overcome.

They're big and look ferocious, but they are not true fighters, they are just aggressive. Kangals don't enjoy fighting, they fight for dominance, and that doesn't mean fighting to death. Only a fool can pit a kangal against APBT. Who has a clue about dog fights knows what I'm talking about. A friend of my bought an Asiat (big as a "horse"). The dog was willing to fight and he rolled him with a APBT. He was thrashing pit bull first five minutes, and after that things started to change. Typical.

I also have one friend who's got a APBT kennel. I've never seen kangal beating APBT in a real, pro, big money fight. Those are fairy tales. You kids don't know anything about the issue. The only breeds which (can) have gameness are APBT, EBT, Am Staff and some hunting terriers. Kangal and the other shepherd breeds are just aggressive
