I Linked this video onto my facebook page and I actually had some losers sending me PMs cursing me out because they thought I burned what should/could have been THIER ticket!
You should be ashamed of yourself for destroying something so many people would have paid good money for! And a GIFT ticket, too! Someone must have worked really hard for that! This festival is not about frivolously squandering effort and resources for your own amusement or to "make a statement" in front of thousands of people! It's about... wait. I see what you did, there.
I find this video to be incredibly offensive. That fireplace is in desperate need of a cleaning. There are children in urban high rise developments who have to scrape by day to day without evan a hope of having a fireplace and you crassly can't manage to take care of the one you have?!? Simply terrible. Shame on you.
Someone else would have loved that ticket, but frankly, Random Joe Couldn't Have Gotten Their Shit Together In Time Burner doesn't deserve to walk in the front gates with a gift ticket.
Said can do whatever he wants with HIS ticket, and it's definitely not for you twitchy people to complain about what he should or shouldn't do. But hey, let me curse you with buying a ticket on eBay and then forgetting it on your kitchen counter until you get to the gate. :D
To get that "gift" ticket, whoever this person is had to put in a LOT of blood, sweat, and tears. It's not just a gift from the org to some sparkle pony. He/She bought and paid for that ticket by selling their soul to the org. I say, HIGH FUCKING FIVE! All of you complainers need to get over it. That made me laugh so hard.
Also - perhaps you ought to consider that GIFT tickets are given to people who actually do stuff at the event - that the gift tickets aren't given to people who just randomly want to go. If this guy's got a Burning Man ticket that's a GIFT ticket, that's acknowledgement of that person's contributions. I'm sure someone else would have loved that ticket. The Burner is definitely NOT a selfish bastard .... otherwise he never would have GOTTEN the ticket. Doofus.
Get stuffed, you weirdo ranting and raving over the Gift ticket. Yeah, so he didn't buy it, and yes, I personally would be a lot more impressed by someone burning a $300 ticket. But still, it's a TICKET.
Maybe you ought to consider that this guy got it or bought one and got this as a gift and his partner in crime can't go - can't gift or sell it to anyone in time, therefore found a most hilarious way to part with it.
But hey, don't let that get in the way of your kneejerk reactions!
youre an idiot. that thing said GIFT right on it. selfish bastard, somebody would have loved that ticket. and yes it is just a week in the desert. with no presence of dumbfucks like you. im glad you cant attend what thousands of people call home.
you know what's fucked up is that you were gifted that ticket. Since you can't make it to the the burn you should have gifted it to someone else. Why you would miss an opportunity to gift someone a burn, in the interest of posting a stupid youtube video, I don't get, but I'm pretty sure that makes you a top caliber ASSHOLE
this is the best statement ever about DJ's at Burningman, I was sickened by those pathetic cries, from "booking agencies" no less. LOL! (evil laugh). But really...some one special (and not a DJ) could've used it. I applause your statement regardless!
@LMEgranny No shit! Will you folks please quit stating the obvious? Otherwise you're going to deprive everyone of the comments from all the fucktards who are dumb enough to get their panties in a bunch over this! Some of us love the entertainment!
That's not a sacrifice! Hahaha! Fail of purpose, that's just paper (even if a ticket) just paper... Not even what the burn represents. You only just failed yourself and at best any experience (all the people you ever met at the burn or CAUSE) you ever had there!
Wow... great use of your gift there. It's a good thing not a single friend of yours is without a ticket what so ever. It's reassuring to see that you aren't so attached to the burn that you worry about missing a year. It's disheartening to see that you didn't want to gift someone else a burn that they would never forget. You suck.
Actually it's technically not a gift. David Peterman is one of 50 people who bought lifetime tickets back in 1995 (or something) for $500 each. Back then BM was like $25 or something, and spending $500 was a crapshoot beyond belief.
