No slight intended. I don't want to minimize Homme & Grohl's contributions, but having JP Jones onboard will gather a lot more attention.

Jones brings not just his own touch, but name recognition, as well. A lot of people wouldn't pay as much attention without him.

I am a big fan of modern rock, and I like all of the bands these guys come from. Hopefully one thing that will come out of this project will be more recognition for Homme's and even Grohl's bands.

Rock was never dead , just laying dormant until all these self serving pop and hip hop acts ran their course . It is not just a collaboration of rock's top musicians that this band embodies , yet , it is a rebirth to true state of rock,A great amalgamation of classic , blues , and progressive melding into what will be the best album to listen and own for the next few years in my humble opinion.
