  • im buying this

  • look up the credits to this album, jonesy handles quite abit, however if ur a TRUE zeppelin fan, you know he does ALOT. he contributes the slide guitar to this album which is pretty cool in my opinion, as is everything about jonesy.

  • DAMN good song. I think I just found a new band!

This is going to be fun to sing on Rock Band!

  • JPJ FTW

  • wow i know it would have been obvious but they really rule.....great year for rock if you think about it with these guys, aic, and pearl jam all releasing albums.....bringin rock back lol

  • Hells yeah man

  • <3 grohls drumming

  • Kind of souther rock thing going here.

  • he is a fucking fantastic singer

  • If you think Josh is a 'bad singer', you should stop listening to rock music.

  • wow your an idiot then XD Josh is an awesome singer, you may not think so but by all means you are so wrong

  • Haha i saw their advertisement on t.v and it said 'A new band' lol

  • Great stuff!

It WOULD take a member of Zeppelin to bring back great rock & roll to the forefront!

  • woot

  • I heard this for the first time on Friday night and I had to call the radio station to hear the name of the song and group. This is awesome! Who from Led Zep is involved with this group?

  • John Paul Jones

  • JOHN PAUL MUTHA FUKN JONES FOOL

  • Josh Homme and Dave Grohl have both made a significant contribution to modern rock.

  • No slight intended. I don't want to minimize Homme & Grohl's contributions, but having JP Jones onboard will gather a lot more attention.

Jones brings not just his own touch, but name recognition, as well. A lot of people wouldn't pay as much attention without him.

I am a big fan of modern rock, and I like all of the bands these guys come from. Hopefully one thing that will come out of this project will be more recognition for Homme's and even Grohl's bands.

  • (I know FF are already pretty huge, but it has the potential to increase their popularity dramatically)

  • This isn't good music. I'm sorry for JPJ that he strapped with these guys, but then again he wouldn't be playing it if he didn't like it.

  • You're certainly entitled to your opinion. But it's so far looking like the court of public opinion has rendered it's initial verdict. TCV seems to be a solid success!

  • Wicked cool~!

  • I can imagine jack white singing this, idk y lol. great song!

  • WOW a real rock and roll album with guitar solos and less autotune. also the only grouping of popular and excellent musicians to make an album worth paying for and seeing. tell your mom ; )

  • I'm totally buying this song on Rock Band on Tuesday, not to mention the whole actual album...

  • Best rock album since "Songs for the Deaf", forealzies!

  • era vugaris fits snugly in there i think as well! :P

  • the bit where the chorus comes in blows my mind

  • just great

    awesome!!

  • One of the few supergroups which is actually worth listening to.

  • I think you've got with a better man..

  • ha ha its funny how everything josh is involved with the comments always include how it sounds sexy

  • I've come back a number of times to hear these again. I am thrilled and amazed by the perfectly dirty, filthy sexuality of every track. Delicious!

  • some people really need to learn the way of the troll.

  • Nickelback is bullshit .How can you even name them in a sentence with TCV's name?

  • @bleach8piano How come you and so many others have to whine and bitch about how they dont like a music group? Whether it be nickelback or any band or artist, if you dont like the band then leave it at that. You dont have to treat someone who listens to something you dont like like a fucking second class citizen you tool. Grow a pair of balls and be a man and realize not everyone thinks the same way as you, get fucked faggot.

  • @ChesterPwnington Ok, I'm assuming that was some clever veiled dig at the hypocritical comments that usually litter YouTube, right? Please let that be the case...

  • It was directed at some guy who just felt the need to say omg nickelback, dont even mention them in the same sentence as these guys. And I told him Im tired of whiny bitches like him who cant just accept they dont like a band, but have to go on and on about it and treat people who listen to them as if they are some second class citzen. Because I think people need to grow the fuck up, if you don't like a band that's fine, but leave it at that.

  • you gotta love trolls

  • this sounds so much like dj tiesto! i luv it!

  • you should be ashamed

  • @supervinivini I pooped in ma pants D:

  • Dude, this sounds nothing like Nickelback. These guys actually have talent. It's along the lines of Zeppelin's bluesy-rock style.

  • Makes sense, seems JPJ is in TCV.

  • It sounds nothing like nicklback or u2 you retard. its a mix of cream/zep/qotsa

  • CREAM?

  • No its "Them Crooked Vultures"

  • I know, he siad it was a combination between

    Cream/Zep/QOSA

  • retard

  • LOL

  • Thank you Harmonix and TCV for putting this song in Rock Band DLC next week. I just wonder how drummers are going to play the part in 0:04 - the snare and hihat.

  • rock band tuesday, sweet. whole album sounds awesome

  • holy shit, this is the first time i've ever been impressed by a supergroup.

    goddamn this is sweet.

  • Probaly my favorite song on the record

  • Wow!...and Wow!...R 'n R.....(World of Wonders!)

  • i like this very very much, all of it

  • this is the best thing to happen to music in forever.

  • so this is what it feels like to be exciited for a new album huh never had this feeling before

  • Rock Band DLC next week. Epic Win.

  • r u srs where did u find this out??

  • Official Rock Band Forums. It's been officially confirmed by the developers.

  • soo excited to see these guys in a week

  • Wow you're lucky, where you seein em at ?? I was gonna go to blackpool but i dont really have the money =/ Will do in the future though :)

  • of coarse it sounds like Queens of the stone age its the same singer morons

  • right the vocals sounds very much qotsa , its the same melody

  • This is one of the best songs on there album, i dont understand why nobody likes it.

  • Dave is an amazing musician but his new Foo stuff really annoys me. STEP IT UP

  • As AWESOME as this album is...... can't help but think this was meant to be the new QOTSA album

  • what? are you serious thats just farken stupid!! completely different!!!

  • Are you "Farken stupid?" listen to everything QOTSA and even Kyuss has done, it KIND OF sounds like this, not exactally sounds like this, knob!

  • @bortolussi00 nowhere close to Kyuss - which would've been a great band if not for that ass singer

  • your a fuckn idiot!!!! thats all i have to say why dont you have a listen properly!!!! then talk to me

  • it should have been!! lol

  • is this jimmy page?

  • nope. its josh hommes on guitar. john paul jones is the bass though...

  • I absolutely love this album, but anyone else think this is the weakest song on it, and a strange choice for the debut single?

  • This song is a good single, it's catchy and light.

  • couldn't agree more

  • It's my favorite, actually.

  • fuckn amazing melody man!

  • damn clever music

  • I was skeptical also, but give it a fair try :)

  • would be cool to hear grohl sing a bit more but ya know drumming and singings not easy ;D

  • yeah I would like to hear a bit more of Dave Grohl on vocals - josh is good, but sounds very much QOTSA

  • nothing like queens are your ears painted on!! this is fuckn amazing completely different style and vocal style!!!! to queens!!

  • Easy tiger - I like this stuff, even if my ears are painted on.

  • my bad!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i think because of the massive amount of hype around this that it is very good but the extent of 'hyping' it has recieved will make it always in comparison seem not as good. Jeesus my grammar is bad

  • josh homme can do no wrong

  • whole project is kinda overrated

    but sounds good

  • FU -_-

  • Yeah, you'd think it was the second coming of Christ or something lol. But I do enjoy it as well

  • lmao your right IM ^^

  • I don't agree. (first part)

  • JODER QUE PASÓN!

  • I REALLY hope this is more then a side project!!! This is too awesome

  • tres bon!

  • Dave can do no wrong! Can't wait to get the album!

  • Maneiro!

  • It all depends on what you listen to. I'll be honest, it sounds like QOTSA, but it's not, lol. But either way, it does sound really good to me so far, but it's not your cup of tea and i'm fine with that.

  • De gustibus non est disputandum

  • The best new rock since "The lost art of keeping a secret". 'nuff said.

  • dave grohl FTW!!!

  • What a combination of people for a super band fuckin lovin this band listened to the album i dont know how many times,, three favourite bands where zepp, foo fighters and queens!!!!

    Rock Forever

  • @ZackAtk147 hell ya! as soon as I heard this song, i knew i was gonna get this whole album! love the sound, and hopefully, we're gonna get back to real rock n roll instead of this pop shit we have today.

  • God, that Riff is wicked

  • Fantastic, punky. Sounds a bit like new UK band The What? I'd say.

  • so great music... a little bit oldskool punk rock, great vocals!

  • I agree I really like the riffs so far.

  • the return of the Riff!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and i agree with the scentless aprentice drum intro

  • how does the intro sound like scentless apprentice?

  • @Kenkilla100 yeah the drums do a little, not exactly but the same sound.

  • @Kenkilla100 well I think its just that Dave has a really distinct sound, and he has obviously kept the same type of tone in his drums.

  • This is the best sh*t I've heard in ages. Yes it probably appeals to the those who treasure the trace of the Led Zeppelin sound and other preferences of the authors, but its a great modern sound, though based on an older generatiion themes. I'll buy when I see.

  • this ones quite nice

  • Starting drum intro reminded me of Scentless Apprentice.

  • ive been shitting my pants since the first song. this was a match made by someone higher than god.

  • You take theses three musicians, you lock them in a recording studio for few weeks, and here it is :)

  • I would say some months. They're been recording/writing the album for probably a little less than a year.

  • actually it was a few months lol

  • 3 songs in and this album is a guarantee buy for me... Then again, I was going to anyway buy it. This just reinforces it.

  • I can't turn this up enough!!!!!!!!!!

  • Some fresh music. NIce for a change. Funny to think Dave Grohl played my basement with Scream in 88 and now.....

  • And Josh Homme played my bathroom with Kyuss.

  • hey you dropped something back there!

  • And JPJ played in my......ah wait zep were around before I was born...

  • URIAH HEEP! haha, i love the isolated outbursts of their name. my mother has a uriah heep cd.. which is how I know about them.. have they retained their fame?

  • Comment removed

  • i love this song, but it aint the best song on the album... i wander why they made it their first full length song? that just annoys me :P

dont get me wrong its still awesome along with the rest of these rockin' tunes!

  • I don´t find it so terribly boring, in fact the 3 song I´ve heard this far look very good for me... Guess it´s a matter of different tastes. Anyway, if someone expected something resembling of Zeppelin they´ll be very disappointed. But as a fan of QOTSA, I still love it :P

  • My god this shit is amazing!

  • it seems Josh can never disappoint me.

  • Bass line is very similar to Uriah Heep's Gipsy... All good though! Kicks some serious ass!

  • wow somebody whos heard of uriah heep. and likes them crooked eagles too!

  • oh my god. holy shit. this is good.

  • Rock was never dead , just laying dormant until all these self serving pop and hip hop acts ran their course . It is not just a collaboration of rock's top musicians that this band embodies , yet , it is a rebirth to true state of rock,A great amalgamation of classic , blues , and progressive melding into what will be the best album to listen and own for the next few years in my humble opinion.

    Thanks gents !

    SVTO !

  • WORD BROTHER

  • Sorry, all I want is a Zeppelin reunion. Page, Plant and Jones on their own just don't do it for me.

  • ON THEIR OWN? Jones is with JOSH HOMME + DAVE GROHL? What more can you actually ask for? :)

  • Sorry, all i want is a Zeppelin reunion. Page, Plant and Jones on their own just don't do it for me.

  • Josh never steps back. When does Dave step up?? So far so amzing! Ok Plant how do you sleep now! You had to go all creepy and deny JPJ the big world tour and now see what you have done!! Hey thanks!

  • Vintage Rock!! Brilliant!!

  • this is the most shocking band I've heard since the nineties. TCV is going to rebuild the rock music

  • this song is so queens of the stone age!

  • It could have been on any QOTSA album for sure..

  • Just preordered the vinyl!!!!

  • john paul jones

  • they're bringing music back :)

  • brilliant!

  • Vocals are superb in this track.

  • Comment removed

  • That's exactly what I thought when I heard this.

  • this sounds most like homme music

  • holy fucking shit the whole album!!!yes!!!!

  • thank you dave, john and josh you are soo amazing! you are the gods of rock music! thank you so much!
