WHAT A LEGEND!! Just saw him live in Sydney last weekend and his voice was still so strong and beautiful. He was so wonderful, warm and sweet. The audience went absolutely bananas for him. I grew up listening to him in the car on family outings. . . wonderful memories. He is 70 now and so fit and relaxed -- all hail Neil Diamond!

Saw him in Melbourne, Australia just recently ......was absolutely brilliant ...his voice is as good as ever .....he doesn't just sing his songs......he lives them on stage with us !!!

@Mariekelise That would be Ron Tutt drumming. He was Elvis's last tour drummer. Ron Tutt joined Neil Diamond's touring band in 1981 after Dennis St. John left.

Brilliant. If not the greatest, then surely one of the greatest American Singers of all time. He is a superb showman. His songs have an audience grabbing beat. Add his vocals that build and build on the beat and you have a totally "hooked" audience. Everyone on stage with him are having a ball from the looks of it. Totally enjoyable to watch and/or listen to.
