  • I'm glad you collected these moments but did you have to cut out his last words of "don't worry about me I never felt better"You should have cut out some lines in the beginning.

  • Because of this scene, I cringe everytime I hear the word radiation ):

  • Agh. I cried like a baby. Everytime!

  • I just hope i can face my death with as much aplomb as he does. Semper Fidelis Commander John Crichton. Long live the archetypical MOVIE STAR hero.

  • i feel so badly for aeryn after he dies. she is stuck on Moya with an exact duplicate of the man she loved. but he has none of the memories they made together. poor girl

  • @73Stargazer yeah it was so sad. But I think tptb left clues that MoyaJohn eventually gained TaylnJohn's memories.

  • this was almost as hard to watch as it was to watch her die.

  • this is the moment, and so far the only moment, in a tv show that had me crying.. the moment when Aeryn realizes that John just died, it tugs something fierce at my heart.

  • So Aeryn cheated on john wit himself ,gotta love farscape

  • when they were taking on the wootong ? the fake john knew what it was, where as the real john said what's a wootong, that's when she knew.

  • @niikodas they were both equally real.. and I think you mean the Budong? :)

  • @niikodas He didn't ask what a budong was... just what was she talking about cause he wasn't there when they grappled Talyn to the inside of the budong. There is an episode much earlier where they are on a dead budong (season 2 I think)... So John knew what a Budong was before he was even twinned.

  • men i cried

  • poor moya her baby dead poor talyn

  • This scene actually starts way before this.

  • best death scene ever! its so subtle not over-dramatic like choking or hacking. it isnt until the music hits that you know he's gone.

  • Christ, I sobbed like a baby at this scene. I was so desolate. Almost as bad as Aeryn.

  • I cried like a baby in this ep...CB and BB killed.

  • It isn't a clone. Neither are. It's just difficult for us to comprehend that two things can be exactly the same whole and equal. But thats why Farscape was so great, it challenged you to think about things in new ways. I think the best way to explain this is it's like a cell splitting. When a cell splits it doesn't "make a copy" it literally becomes two by division not by clone.

  • @reggie0

So John, gets split, so is he one of them? If I was John and I was twinned what would happen to me exactly. It's insanity.

  • Even knowing that was his clone, I still cried. Dang it!

  • No this was the original,he went with Aeryn and the copy stayed with the others. Aeryn eventually comes to realize they are the same, and comes to love the copy.

  • No, the being who "twinned" Jon claimed that both men were "equal and original." No clones. The writers didn't want the audience to think of one as the "real" Jon. They were both real. It's hard to do, though. I tend to think of Talyn Jon as the copy.

  • @galveston

How can they be both real?

What happened to JOHN himself, either a copy was made, or he died and two copies were made.

  • @Usul573 They said they were both equal copies of the original John. Like when a cell splits, they become two equal copies of the parent cell.

  • @PhoenixPhire22

So I guess the original John is more or less gone. Two equal copies.

    Did seem kinda random though.

  • @Usul573 what happened was, original John Crichton got caught in the twinning "foam" or sphere, or whatever it was, and out came two John Crichtons. So its like someone said, more like a cell splitting up into two, original and equal, copies of the parent cell.

  • @jahoodunrama

    Yes, I saw it.

I'm just wondering, John himself, he's gone in a way, it's weird, then again it's sci-fi.

  • @galveston I knew from the start, when he "got" Aeryn with him, that something had to happen... But I felt as if both were not quite the real one, only both were a part of the real one: Moya John was the "crazy/ scientist/funny" part of Crichton, Talyn John was the "gentle/ serious/madly in love" part of Crichton

One or the other taken alone was weird since John is such a complex character

Though Moya Crichton in season 4 became the real one again, a good mix between both

  • This is by far my favorite scene of these two even though it makes me cry. I think I cried more then her.

  • right after he wtfpwnd the scarran cruiser. Awesome.

Although, my favourite part of the scene was the line "Don't worry about me, I've never felt better." as John's last words, right after Aeryn kisses him... too bad it's not in this one.

  • If their are clones of John. I'll take one by mail order.

  • itss his clone....just for those who are confused

  • OMG THANK YOU I WAS LIKE NOOO HE CAN'T DIEE

    and I almost cryed

  • How does he die? I haven't been able to watch that episode yet....

  • radiation poisoning

  • john die???what's this??

  • Don't worry, we have a spare.

  • XD a spare

but it strikes a lot, whatever if there's still another or even a thousand of John... he's the kind of guy we fan want immortal ^^

  • it's a "twin" from another episode; john was cloned, and the twin carries his personality and memories as well

  • *sniffles* That part was so sad... Poor Aeryn. They have wonderful chemistry though.
