Volvo was better being RWD..  RWD isn't the only issue. Compared with past models, a modern Volvo is rubbish.

Don't get me wrong, I'm actually a great fan of Volvo. But after owning a 1992 740GL and a 2005 S60, I noticed how quickly my 2005 Volvo started to fall apart. My 740 GL would be the most reliable car I EVER had.

They should build both FWD/AWD and RWD - Lexus offers both. Volvo had a strong history of rugged RWD cars and chassis knowledge and threw it out the window.

@josornio300 hey:)glad to hear that..Meanwhile,I sold it in april,started to get some problems(too many owners before me who didnt look after it), and Im back on japanese.Got a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant 2.5 V6 on LPG:) couldnt be more happier.When they re gonna go back to what VOLVO 240 was,then I might get back to Volvo...This new C70 looks amazing,wish they wouldve make it RWD or something,Ford messed up the whole idea of a Volvo making them FWD...Hope yours lasts,if you got problems message me!k

I have the 2010 T5 C70. It's one of the best cars I've ever driven. So smooth, so elegant, so fierce. I'd really want my car tuned like that, that was insane!
