  • @RockyBalboa211 yes, i have been taking fish oil since 2005 approx and then i started using flaxseed in my protein diet in addition to my fish oil capsules as i don't eat fish. I also now add ground sunflower kernels to my protein shake and Psyllium Husk. during marathon running (more weekends) i add ground sesame seed.  table spoon of each. :-)

  • cool. i read online that you shouldn't have any more than 2 table spoons per day. I also grind on fine in my grinder.

  • it adds texture to the drink, not really adding flavour but it does fill me up and keep me going until meal times. Any runner will know... you do 23k odd one protein shake on its own doesn't cut it but adding flaxseed you get fibre which does fill you up with the extra omeag 3. hope that helps.
