Spectacular, but noticed so very few people enjoying this grandure. Looks like temperature might be hot specially under the burkas. Are westeners that live there hated and harassed? How save is it to go on vacation to Dubai for americans? The blonds mentioned in these comments, are they locals or tourists? Wow! its HUGE. But when I go to the mall... I spend less than 30 minutes there. Dubai is the most lavish place in the world by far. But you have to have a certain frame of mind to really care for these fleeting objects. Give me my family... food... and a comfortable lifestyle. Thats all I need. Not massive buildings. Its fantastic in the Dubai mall and the Mall Of The Emirates was fantastic too as it was just around the corner from where I was staying I wish I was there I can shop till I drop again wish I was back in October 2010 again.Looking forward to paying another visit to Dubai this year hopefully.I thought the Trafford Center in Manchester was big but the shopping malls in Dubai make the Trafford Center look like a small mansion.Why cant we have shopping malls in the UK like the ones in Dubai ?.HUGE

There's over a trillion dollars tied up in Dubai's creation and investors will want a return on their investment (which was mostly from foreigners). I may be wrong, but isn't oil less than 10% of Dubai's economy?
