i had to dyno my GLi in 4th cuz 3rd was tackin out too quick, i put down 200whp and 223 wtq on 93,217 243 on 110 CAM2 octane. car has eurojet 3" tbe, APR stock,91,93 and 100 chip, APR TIP, CAI, DV, N75 "race" and a bunch of other mods. i cant get traction in 2nd with the race gas, id say it's equal with my friends KO4 GTi
i have a modified GLI too. Can you tell me what your HP is? That's a very awesome looking car and i bet it's really fast.. Can it hang with the EVO's and WRX's??
Exhaust is a 3" 42 Draft Designs Catless Downpipe that goes to a 2 1/2" Borla muffler. It exits out the driver side in front of the rear tire. Intercooler and piping is my own design. Custom tune. H&R Race Springs, AEM cold air intake, battery in trunk. Rear triangulating bar in trunk. 8mm spacers in front and 15mm in rear. Wheel studs. Lots of other little stuff as well.

We are working on a custom tune right now using an open-source program similar to what is used on Subaru's. It will allow complete adjustability. No more flash tunes. They are all too limiting.
The wheels are RC's powder coated balck with different VW centercaps. It has a custom FMIC designed and built here at Komet Motorsports, a cold air intake, side exit exhaust (no cat) and Neuspeed flash. Power came in at 191whp and 224 wtq. I still have to mount the meth injection kit so I can up the boost a little more. Car ran 208whp and 231wtq on 19psi boost before.

It's an intercooler. The air intake is in front of the drivers front wheel behind the bumper cover.
