So what's the point of all the wood glue? And what about cutting through finished hardwood floors to gain at most a couple CF of storage? This would be good if you were trying to hide weed or something under a carpet. DIY network projects are conceived by TV producers not actual tradesmen/women.
thats sort of dumb, u will be walking barefoot over the hardware, would be better to have a push latch system and maybe a rug over it
