@mechds If you replace iPhoto, it will not delete your photo library. The application iPhoto has nothing to do with your pictures, except organize them :)

To make iMovie run on a PowerPC G4.

You'll need a hex editor such as the free HexEdit; once you have that, Open iMovie with the HexEdit, navigate into Contents » MacOS...edit the file named "iMovie" in the MacOS folder.

Use the Find » Go To Address function in HexEdit to go to the following addresses, and replace each existing entry at those addresses (7C 08 02 A6) with 4E 80 00 20. The addresses are 15fb9c, 15fc7c, and 15fe00.

Save and quit HexEdit

hey guys for yous trin to fix the garageband error eg it has no instrument when it says choose instruments go to ur hardrive go to users select yours then select library then application support then garageband then the folder instrument library and tada there u have it it has accidently been put in the rong folder this shud work tht is were it is stored hope this helps

for the garageband issue...i copied it to my desktop..opened it.. just click choose>library folder>application support>garageband>instrument library then click choose....it should work now..

yes, but i suggest renaming iphoto (the 08 one) to iphoto1... because both will look the same! and if it works, you can delete the 08 one, but im not sure if you would keep the files saved i there.....

iPhoto '09 Standalone Installation Instructions

First install 'iLifeMediaBrowser_v2.pkg' and 'iLifeSlideshow.pkg' which are prerequisites for all of iLife '09.

When you first install Ilfemediabrowserv2.pkg you need to restart your computer (it will do it for you)

then the other file and restart again (i think)... Then iPhoto 09 will work
