lol Mine does the same thing.. she'll go to the 2nd lvl of her cage or 3rd and groom herself and fall asleep somethings then wake up maybe 5-10 mins later an is in shock she's not in her bed so goes to her bed and knocks out all over again lol my lil' werido! hee hee

Cotton stuffing or bedding is actually dangerous for hamster .. They may choke to death as they like to stuff bedding or anyting they see ..

I think there is bedding somewhere else. I believe I've seen this cage before, where this is the second level and theres a full level underneath where you can put bedding.

Yeah a agree....we need to understand that those animals usually get stressed out in our environment and they need comfert like in their own home.

My hamster has a lovely bed full of shredded loo roll (better than fluffy bedding) and sometimes he still conks out in places other than the bed - he did it a lot when he was little. Sometimes he still dozes in my hands. There's most likely a bed somewhere else in the cage.

I had one and one day I got him a new cage.

Put him in at night and the next day when i went to check on him he was nowhere to be found, searched high and low until I found him asleep in the bed area of his old cage.

He did that twice.
