That's not even a fair comparison, Zoo TV REVOLUTIONIZED the concert experience as we knew it before 1992. So that means not even the frickin' Beatles could beat it if they toured today.

Most people don't realize that U2 was the first BIG BAND that used the video assist to make big venues feel small.

anyone that doubts should look at some concert video's from the 80's or 90's to see what was going on behind the band.... maybe some flashing lights, a color or image on a screen. Nothing like U2 accomplished.

When I saw this cocert in Oakland California... Public Enemy opened with Anthrax joining them. Three Klu Klux Klan, hooded and all were hanging from the post. The opening act (P.E) was tight as could be and then when you were already hiiigh.....U2 and ZOO TV, come on now....sombody say a prayer.... unbelievable concert. : )

I'd comfortably say that with Achtung Baby and this Zoo TV tour U2 had the biggest impact on music since the split of The Beatles. Whether it's Radiohead, Muse, Coldplay they always know that ZOO TV was the standard set for the live show. It was a standard that will never be topped I believe. This tour changed touring for bands for ever.

This era was all about playing with moods and themes, I just wish some their more recent albums was as sonically diverse and powerful. U2 where pretty much untouchable at this point. At a time when dance beats ruled the charts, they gave us a glimpse of the future of Rock music. For that they deserve respect.
