I absolutely agree with SKGwalior and RK10101 - This is tantamount to libel and one could be sued in a court of justice for intentionally misleading people...
Both O.P.Nayyar and Lata have given reasons (altho' different) why they NEVER worked together and your title is in direct opposition to their statements...
This is a grossly wrong statement. The song is beingplayed on radio in the film which is as per director's wish nothing to do with music director OP Nayyar. The song is originally from "Aji Bas Shukriya" sung by Lata and composed by Late Roshan! Please do not make misleading statements just creating waves for nothing. Lata never sang for OP Nayyar. This was one of the last movies of OP Nayyar who faded out as a music director soon after this movie!
This song is not composed by O.P. Nayyar... It's composed by Roshan and the song is 'Saari Saari raat teri Yaad sataye'......... I hope this was not to misguide People... Lataji had never ever sung for O.P. Nayyar...
OPN must have inserted a clip of the song which is from Aji Bas Shukriya (1958) with music by Roshan. Wonder why. I had never heard of this movie - the Taxi Driver most of us know is with Dev Anand and fabulous music by Sachin Dev Burman. Certainly a puzzle which perhaps you could explain........
Vishal Anand is no way related to Dev Anand or Anand clan. His real name is Bhisham Kohli - his elder brother Yash Kohli (nickname "Baba") was an assistant to Dev & Vijay Anand (Navketan International). Yash Kohli was in love with Rekha in early 70s.
Only once Lata sang on OP's tune- and it was 'Ude Jab jab zulfe trei' in antakshari song of 'Muzse Dosti Karonge?'; though it was just for one line of about 40 seconds only.
Yes, but what i have said that Lata sang only one line of OP's tune for a film in her life & that was in 'Muzse Dosti Karoge?''s antakshari song. Original song is of course sung by Asha. OP has never used Lata's voice in his lfe.
@yagniks sir...any way ...it is not a important if she sang one line or not but the true is that OPN only musice director was super hit without great Lata ji...
