Higurashi is great, and although Elfen Lied is good too, Higurashi will always be the best, Higurashi kinda gets in your head and it's more in depth while Elfen Lied is just kinda chopping people up lol :P

well you cut the clips funny, some seemed to hanfg on longer then they should have or just didn't fit. the first clip however was posibly my favourite, it fit the song and it just seemed really interesting. you need somthign liek that in the beginign of an AMV I think.

heheh dont worry m8. the record so far in when a guy replied to a message i had written 7 months ago :D actually happened 2 weeks ago. anyways, yea i had thought of that myself. and being rika, she should have a vast knowledge of death and suicide in general ^^ i think it was mostly to make it more dramatic, by the animators or maybe it also happens in the manga, havent read that part. and it is intense, you cant argue with that. anyways, happy new year m8 :)

that is why the Japanese are so great...

the main thing which makes higurashi so great is the way it impacts your mood, I have seen far more gory but no anime actually made me feel a tinge of fear or horror. I think it has to do with the sound and the way that they convey the emotions.

In elfen lied body parts are dropping like cherry blossoms, but it rarely reaches this level of morbidity (I say rarely cause of scenes like that poor puppy dog... :P )

The first season is a little confusing, but season 2 explains it all!

You need to pay attention to Rika(blue hair) she has a lot to do with season 2.

Season 1 actually has different parts. So like if everyone dies than come back alive a healthy in the next ep. season 2 will explain.... Enjoy the confusion!! xD

In the ending preview of ep 25, the word "Hatchet" was highlighted blue. "Bat" was highlighted Red. The two main 'weapons' of the series. I thought the previews didn't make sense, but the final battle was a clash of the two terrors. If there were eng-subbed eps on here, I'd favourite the last ep. Awesome battle.
