They get brushed everyday.
This is done with a special brush for 'baby' hair.
These cats are Cornish Rex.
Cats have three layers of hair.
Cornish Rex only have the first two layers.
They do not have the third layer known as Gaurd hairs.
Their hair is naturally curly.

It has natural waves.
This is coaused by a recessive Mutant Gene.
The first Cornish Rex kitten was discovered in a litter found at the entrance of a Tin Mine in Cornwall.
It is thought the radiation from this mine gave the kitten it's uniqueness.
The rest is history.
Cornish Rex bred in America are slightly different from those bred in eastern Europe.

In Britain, where they originated the breed is being restricted in its gene pool by some breeders who will not allow new owners to place the kittens on the 'active' list.
Thank God my two boys are here to show what beautiful animals 'true' British based Cornish Rex can be, (most people see poorly taken photos of American or Eastern European Cornish Rex and think they are ugly).
I don't subscribe to this point of view.
