As a famous italian writer said, "Ideology is the root of all conflict". You have my support for your fight for freedom, shall it be against an oppressing government, race or religion!
@naceryou : I hope you understand that almost all the science and technology in the world today, including the computer that you're typing on, has come from them. The Islamic world has contributed nothing to modern science, the last 200 years when it really took off... it was too busy mindlessly studying the Quran and frustrating scientists among them. I am not a Jew, but the Jewish people have given the world a LOT more than Muslims. Almost 200 Nobel Laureates in physics itself, Muslims = 2!!!
You make me lough, 1st you don't know anything about Islam so do not talk about it, 2nd the siceince that you talk about if you know hisyory came from musulmans. What Jewish are contribute to the world except wars and crimes against humanity !!! and the Nobel laureates that you talk about we don't need it...
@naceryou : And just to clarify, I'm not religious. I have Jewish friends and Christian friends and Muslim friends and Hindu friends. Of them, I find the Jewish ones are typically better educated and more analytical. Excepting some, most of my Muslim friends are highly emotional with a blind faith in their religion and an equally blind hatred for Jews. When questioned why, its always some knee-jerk references to Israel. But I think its because Jews are vilified in the Quran as apes and pigs.
Islamic Republic cannot be reformed! Regime Change is the only option!
A regime that prefers Hamas and Hezbollah to its own citizens, rapes its daughters and sons, does not have legitimacy and must be thrown out and tried for its crimes!
Does anyone know what the people are shouting at the 1:30-2:00 portion of the video? Everyone is is shouting a 4 syllable phrase in unison. I wonder what they are saying?
Go people of Iran, it is your country. Fight for what you believe in. This is why we Americans are lucky, to a point, because we can have proper civil discourse. Power to the people, through their voice. When a country's government oppresses their people in this fashion, however, it is only fitting that the people take whatever means necessary to remedy the situation. America was founded on this principle, and we should not see the people of Tehran (or any country) negatively for this.
@jakejackjoe I saw this on the Google blog, actually. My heart goes out to people so repressed that their government tries to put them down. Tehran's people understand what a democracy is, even if its government doesn't, which doesn't bode well for their government, it seems.
Ah, I see.. I guess that makes sense... There was no description, just a title saying people are fighting back, and all I see are a bunch of people yelling and screaming... Thanks for the response.
