I love to sing and I have never been shy about it. I don't really get nervous but sometimes the wait before you sing is long and there is usually lots of noise, music, anouncements and you can hear the crowd. I try to stay in a zone and sometimes listen to a recording of myself singing the Anthem so I get that first note right. It really is awsome and the crowds are so great to me.
