Are sterling/pure silver staples available? Or titanium? I realize stainless steel is just as qualified, but it's still a curiosity. -Student considering surgical medicine. So far, it's pretty gross XD. A lot of the procedures performed appear much less, and depressingly less artistic and more materialistic. Skills in "carving" more akin to surgical slicing, etc. And yet the results are reasonably wonderful.
