It is not possible to argue that each individual should sacrifice for the whole of society, and yet expect each individual to know what "society's good" consists of, without having a dictator to tell them.
Communism is the only way to achive a really democratic, free and fair society. Capitalists leaders as owners of big comapanies and politicians make the people belive the communism is a kind of slavery, than, they aren't communists. Why dont we keep capitalist principles but mix in some communist values.
For example, we could take 10% of the wealthy of society, this being 200grand or more a year.
And give this to the people, although only to people who contribute. This meaning to give it to people who promote culture, economical, production, ect. This isnt impossible. Though we will not have complete and utter freedom we would have some since of equality. And isnt that better then having a couple extra thousands.

I think achieving communism the right way would be easier then achieving a consistent Capitalist society. I live in America and I dream of a Communistic society. They buy things to show off to people. If everyone is truly equal, people cannot brag and show off their money or power. There would be no reward for hard-work, and people wouldn't care anymore. Communism leads to apathy, unless you instill propaganda (as shown in the USSR). Propaganda is used to control people, which adds power.

Why dont we keep capitalist principles but mix in some communist values.
For example, we could take 10% of the wealthy of society, this being 200grand or more a year.
And give this to the people, although only to people who contribute. This meaning to give it to people who promote culture, economical, production, ect. This isnt impossible. Though we will not have complete and utter freedom we would have some since of equality. And isnt that better then having a couple extra thousands.

@youtubu124 Even if we were to maintain a communist society, the people would not be happy. The reason most people want to earn money is so they can buy more things. They buy things to show off to people. If everyone is truly equal, people cannot brag and show off their money or power. There would be no reward for hard-work, and people wouldn't care anymore. Communism leads to apathy, unless you instill propaganda (as shown in the USSR). Propaganda is used to control people, which adds power.

@youtubu124 yes to centralize all power to him but freedom, the idea that you can control your life, is a contagious disease and when it appears it spreads quickly, to stop this one must create labor zones to place unruly dissidents and their families to keep them from tainting the perfect society. So if you talk to Japan, South Korea, and other examples of how capitalism has cause prosperity then you will know which is easier.

The Soviets applied mathematics and statistics to their economy in a way that has never been done in human history and they were incapable of eliminating shortage. Vast amounts of money were wasted. Yes they did well during their speedy industrialization but they simply could not run the economy through planning once it was operational.

I think government is something of a living, collective hallucination that people default their power to. Its an entity that feeds on human insecurity. Communism only works in small groups of people. We don't live in a hunter/ gather type of lifestyle anymore. It's far more complex and therefore Communism will not work. Communism forgets to take in the human nature account based on competition. We all have that and nobody wants to give up something that they earned to somebody else they don;t like.

@turbomango The main difference being socialism is when people run their place of employment, communism is when there is no money or government (google: pure communism) and fascism is funded by the rich and against democracy. If we had real communism there would be no state for the fascists, no money to fund them (money doesn't exist) and no requirment for a dictator as the people would all have control over their communites already and be allowed to flourish their talents away from the market.

to all those who are against communism: your ither a rich cant who owns big bussines there for you have a lot to give to the people after the revoulution, or your just one off those people who listens to what the TV teaches them. communism is the only way forward not just for me, you and the workers but for every one.
