Hello! I just wanna share that you can also use the Bishamon Sword from the beginning of the game after completing the Ultimate Mode. After that, the other swords will also have unlimited magic power and the Matchlock and Bow will have unlimited bullets and arrows. This makes the Bishamon Sword such a challenge.

After you get the flute, go to the fountain room you see in the beggining of this vid and play the flute. Beyond the sealed door awaits your hard earned prize! Good luck.
See the room in the beginning of this vid? There is another door left of the fountain. Play the flute anywhere in the room and the door will open. Go through and you'll find the sword.
the bishamon sword is not in the dark realm, but the bishamon orcarina is in there. After getting this thing you can get the bishamon sword just before the last boss fight.
youre suppose to go that one door that looks like fingers blocking it and than use the ocarine from that inventory menu, the door is in the same place i started this video.

@battlesector wrong! not completing ultimate mode completing oni spirits wich UNLOCKS ultimate mode for each difficulty :D

Go to the inabyama castle and enter the second door to the left. There will be a strange old man in the room somewhere.
But in the beggining of the game he wont talk to you so you need to go through the game a bit.
Afterwords the next time you enter the room a cutscene will commence and the old man will talk to you about the dark realm.
