Dude! It'll never run right without the stock airbox. Thoese are cv carborators, Not smoothbores. It proubly want even run without the choke on. Its running way to lean!!!!!

looks more like a fwd front end, CVs and independant swing arms, and the differential is locked in place,

its not a solid axle like it may appear

It would run better if you had some restriction on the intake ports. Try and fab up the stock airbox to work.

You obviously have no idea about bike engines!! it will be back firing due to it running rich!!!!! not lean. maybe due to the carbs needing a good clean or due to the fact there is baisically no back pressure. personally, i'd stick a stage 3 dynojet kit in it, k&n filter and run it till it pops. we only build these things for a laugh. not to drive round the world. get a grip!!!!!!!

dude, open carbs, that thing is lean!

rich causes back firing due to excessive fuel,

lean causes similar sounding to back firing, but its pinging, or pre-ignition due to the combusion chamber getting much to hot, and not being able to dissipate the heat, smaller amounts of fuel are combusting before the spark is supposed to ignite them

no back pressure, and open air box does not lead to rich condition. It leads to lean.. excessive airflow.

dirty carbs as well restrict the flow of fuel.

we got a hammerhead and we modded in a 95 cbr motor.

the started wasnt to bad. if u dont clutch it just right it flies backwards :/

we need ro put something in that has revers available for the motor or something

you could use a car starer and just run it reverse, out the bugxter in neutral, flip a switch and turn on the starter, and theres a reverse, if you wanted
