I have same problem with light. I use cap and sunglasses often. However, Happy to see other DeafBlind in this earth =).

  • Christa, I've got a Deaf-Blind friend named Adam Drake, maybe you know him? He has Usher's Syndrome and is almost blind at this point. Anyhow, he uses this special eyeglasses that has lens at an angle. He says that it increases his range of vision a little bit. I was wondering if these type of eyeglasses would help widen the field of vision, or is it only limited to a certain type of Usher's Syndrome? Anyhow, I enjoyed watching your vlogs.

    Best Regards,

    Erick :o)

  • Thank you so much for sharing with us Coco! You are right, this is a very common question for people who don't know any DB people. Or even if we do know some, we don't know them well enough to ask the big question about how much they see. It is so nice to hear from someone who understands that it is a natural question and is willing to answer. I'm glad you gave up the fear of answering the question!

  • I want you to know that i think you're damn H-O-T!

  • I admire your courage to share with us regarding usher syndrome.

  • i am smiling at ya. u r so pretty girl inside and out.never forget abt that! :) enjoy ur life. good luck with trip in africa :)
