To be honest I don't expect EVERYONE to agree with me.

Watch the match it's OBVIOUS Ivory Coast was desperate and played like such.

Are you really going to ignore or dispute the reckless and violent foul against Elano?

So it's no surprise their lack of focus/skill and leadership by their captain didn't get them out of even the group stage.

Brazil did indeed have a great squad coming into the tournament as Copa America and Confederation Cup champs.

Brazil was diving all game, every soccer player has disgraced the game. They are embarrassing themselves, the referees, and the sport as a whole. Epic shame!

it was a definitely a tough game im just glad Brazil won, but seriously there was a real hard foul on Elano which actually took him out of the game that should have been a red card but the ref didnt "see it" what happend to Kaka is unfortunate but hopefully this will make him wiser for the next games as for the handball by L. Fabiano yes he did use his arms twice but come on that was a very nice goal, lol, hopefully the refs stop making bad decision in the coming games

i just got dissapointed for such a lame game... the africans got dirty, fine... shame on them. but brazil won with a handball goal pretty much like france before gettin' into the world cup... and kaká picked on the africans players insted of the ball that's why he got the red card... i'd say shame on both.

I respect you really. But you cannot deny the upset Brasil caused in this game. The second goal was unfair and fabiano even claimed it wasnt a handball when it clearly was. And the fouls by Ivory coast was strictly due to frustration. I mean imagine what you would feel like if you got cheated off a goal. Ivory coast even deserved a penalty because there was a handball by brasil in their penalty box. And lastly. Kaka elbowed Keita in the chest and shouldered him in the jaw, replay the footage.

@civbabez22 that's what i am saying, people are hating on Keita so bad, when Rivaldo did worst at the WC 2002. Fabiano scored with his hands and he is glorify for this? This is where all this disgrace is from, without the referee cheatin the Ivorian wouldn't had been so dirty. The referee didn't say anything in order that people forget these handballs, same reason why he gave a red to Kaka to make Brazil seems like the Hero and the Ivorians as the cheaters.

@sybellah without all the unfairness, people say the score would still be 2-1, maybe, maybe not. Cause when a team is led 2-0 they usually decrease the intensity of their game cuz of disappointment. Adding all the frustration too, no wonder why the 3rd goal took place easily. I think in a way it's the Ivorian players fault too, cause they ve been too passive and din't complain enough for that fabiano's handballs, and for that penalty they deserved but that everybody is ignoring.

Brazil is the team that has really been a letdown lately, they have mostly scored goals because of defensive mistakes from teams that really didnt have much technique to begin with. That will not work againt tougher teams, i dont see brazil winning this world cup or any world soon. It was to win a cup when your one of the few teams who where actually good. But in the futbol teams have Pretty caught up and brazil has begun to look less amzazing every world cup=J

Now, you could say that withouth that goal brazil still would have won 2-1, but by saying that would show that you really dont know anything about futbol. Because without the second goal there isnt a third one given that a goal is a huge momentum changer in a game. No reason to be biased. I am from neither brazil or ivory coast. I believe the ivory coast players felt cheated becuase os brazils second goal (which make no mistake about it was a double handball.) This is what most likey caused the ivory coast players to become more physical.

Agree 100% that Latin America are the best here. Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay topped their groups so far, probably becuz the African enviroment suits them naturaly. As always, Europe does good when the Cup is in Europe, tho Germany and Holland IMO are the strongest representing the region. And the African teams were disappointing, all are last in their group except Ghana, only becuz the 2 lucky penalty kicks. RSA will be the first host nation to fail at group stage.
