  • 0:50 WHAT IF IT'S TOUCHED BY FLYING PIGS?!

  • car at 0:17 is in no shape or form to tow a metal platform probably 3-4x the weight of the car. Light wind gust on the side would have had the same effect on the car.

  • 0:25 LOL блеать

  • @Kadaffik Haha lol xD lol lol lol xD

  • What if it tangles in a prop? It's not exactly made of wet toilet paper...

  • Those things looked like giant ballons till there was a close up of the material. That can't be good for a wing to hit!!

  • 0:55 "Touched by an aircraft"??? Is that like Touched by an Angel?

  • @0drew00 thumbs up if you noticed the description

  • "Saftey at the red bull race is guaranteed" <<<< quoted from the narrator..... SAFETY is never guaranteed....

  • what happens if you crash into the water?

  • @rayano A lot of water jumps out and the plane gets wet, it may get destroyed by the way; if you're nearby perhaps you will hear something like "splash"

  • thumbs up if u noticed the car flipped at 0:20

  • @0drew00 Thumbs down if you noticed its actually in the description

  • Reno Air Races should raise their safety standards to the levels shown at Red Bull Air Races

  • Real men would test Steel Pylons.

  • Wow, those testers in the planes are ballsy. I hope they get paid good to do that.

  • Wow, those testers in the planes are ballsy. I hope they get paid good to do that.

  • lol no one got hurt but the trailer at 00:15 got banged up

  • they should have stone cones, so it they crash they will learn never to crash again

  • lol 0:48 looks like fsx

  • Pylon erection at 0:32. XD

  • WE NEED ADDITIONAL PYLONS!!!

  • most of them that i can recognize are sportsplanes made my Extra and possibly sukhoi. a common sportplane used for demo flights and crazy stuff is the extra 300s

  • What kind of planes are these? Do they have a specific name?

  • @brianklar1 They're just aerobatic aircraft. Popular types are the Extra 300 and the Edge 540.

  • the first aircraft almost went down!, respect to that pilot! xD

  • yes it is safe to hit the cone but if anything goes wrong with the plane there´s people on river side watching the show that can get hurt !!!

  • LMFAO now how in the hell you put a huge trailer with a high CG on an itty bitty car. What do you expect is going to happen? Funny to see the next test they use a flatbed.

  • Guranteed my ass

  • good !

  • i wanna do this sport so badly :D

  • just be glad they don't make them out of cement XD

  • "Latex balloons"

  • Fail

0:17 the test car with the stick crashes after breaking the pylon :P

  • @joda457 What do u expect its Golf 2 -.- xD

  • "safety is garanteed"? Is he sure?

  • World class

  • Wonder if old RedBull will use some of that Hollywood funny money to help us Patriot Americas Save the Republic?? Tic-Tock RedBull,, Support of Your Country needs you and your Friends Help to save the Republic, But then you probably need another gazillion dollars profit forecast this year

  • @rclark23 what on earth are you talking about? For one Red Bull isn't American, for two, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!

  • ya y?

  • they should make one of those pylons concrete and not tell them which one it is

  • @xSpartanCx well it would sure make them not want to hit a pylon

  • would be boring if they just used lazers break the beam you know

  • omg 0:17 car crash

  • And this is why...Flying is safer than driving an automobile.

  • safety is guaranteed? They're going to regret that statement eventually. Car racing kills people from time to time. It's inevitable that somebody will die in a Red Bull race.

  • @mqbitsko I think they mean the pylons themselves, not the race. No doubt sooner or later someone will smash into the ground.

  • Did anyone else see the car that eats shit after the trailer tips at :19 seconds ? lol

  • @Orangebike666 learn to read the description kid

  • @cavaliersfan08 wasn't the original description when I saw it... just said no one has yet been killed with the new updated pylon.

  • @Orangebike666 o my bad lol

  • @cavaliersfan08 No worries, I didn't mean to sound like a smart ass. I am glad to see people on Youtube being respectful . Cheers mate

  • @Orangebike666 meh i was the one that sounded like a dumbass you were the one who just corrected me which is fine because you didnt say it in a smart ass way you just said it to make sure you got your point accross

  • YEAH YOU'RE SAFETY IS GUARANTIED--- unless the pilot brakes his stearing wheel and crashes on you. :)

  • @christmaspoo911 I really don't think they even use steering wheels ;)

  • @cooldemo oh, I seriously could careless.

  • Safety is guaranteed....? erm im no expert but i doubt that...

  • haha! they learned their lesson from the car crash and used a truck after!

  • CONDOMS!!!

  • @dabob720 pretty much

  • why didnt they tried to use concrete? Im sure thy wouldn't hit them ^^

  • LOL what were they thinking at 0:19?!?

  • 0:19 ''Testing - Fail''

  • Good example of preemptive measures to save lives. Nice job engineers. YAY ENGINEERS!

  • For Auir!

  • Safety can never be guaranteed

What they have done is come up with a solution involving danger that everyone is comfortable with.

And considering the stakes they have done well.

  • should have made them from steel, it would give the pilots more motivation lol

  • not to be over dramatic, but perhaps living is more than breathing... perhaps progress or the creative drive makes us human rather than the ability to exist... Unless you know the thrill of victory or taste the bitterness of defeat you have never lived. This is kickass badass extreme competition and anything less would be drinking the cool aid so to speak for a talent that knows it can do this...

  • wow, I guess now we can stop the momentum and progress of human life. We made it this far, so lets stop taking risks, stop pushing the boundaries out a little further, maintain a constant birth rate, and pat ourselves on the back because we saved one guilty conscience one painful memory...

  • Whaat? I didn't say anything about solid gates!

  • why live life in a cage of safety. Life i best experienced raw, with some risk of losing it, and this is what makes it worth loving.

I would rather die doing something I love than in a bed sh1tt1ng on myself.

  • Do you expect solid gates?

Life is irreplaceable, so any risk is unacceptable.

If you are comfortable with ending your life then maybe you should walk onto railway line.

There are lots of other activities that pose no risk that can still make you feel alive. By breathing and being conscious I am constantly being reminded of being alive.

It is those that don't make you feel alive which you should avoid, such as being at your own funeral and with no recollection of it, ever!!!!!

  • It is those that don't make you feel alive which you should avoid"

Thats exactly what helicopterpilot 727 just said.

  • @EinkOLED haha, said like a true man!

  • what if the plane hit the water?

  • i guess so, lol

  • neat

  • what if it gets on your windshield :) I can't seee!!!!

  • yea but it would have to get through the propellor first

  • Tampa, Computers fail, sorry. lol that's not gaurenteed safety either.

  • Not while humans are designing computers! If humans are fallible (and we are) then the machines we build will be too!

  • True, the computers have to be made correctly. Good call.

  • Just a thought you know:-) But computers won't suffer from human emotions and limitations etc, so they would be a bit safer in control of various things.

  • lol

  • what a fool this narrator is. Safety is never gauranteed with this sport....or any sport for that matter.

  • Yeh, I cringed when he said that, tempting fate almost.

He's a fickkle bugger that fate.

  • this person a hungarian pilot:Péter Besenyei Vivala Hungary! Vivala rEVOLUTION

  • its amazing how red bull pulls it off, i mean .. everything, how the organize these events, F1 racing, extreme sports, really aggressive marketing.

  • I agree, don't know how they do it. You ever taste that garbage?

  • yea good man dickhead CEMENT wtf r you on

  • Yeah death race 2010. We can use prisoners. If you survive 10 races, you're pardoned. lol

  • the 1st one is so scary :-S

  • hell no...it would be cool to see the crash...but to "dangerous"

  • sick fuck

  • Yeah and we could get you to fly into them

  • safety is NOT guaranteed

  • Btw, no one died in red bull air races and it is alot that can go wrong... Many other sports have many deaths and injurys unlike this one :)

Realy the organization that prepairs the track and cones is doing a good job..

  • @BooRay1

...or, they are really good pilots

  • @yohapaulo

ofcourse they are.. that is why they are in that league :) they are one of the best....

  • @BooRay1 its new, give it time and someone will deffently die

  • ROFL

  • lmfaaaaaoooooooo.

  • Obviously there is is some distraction in the cockpit when a pylon is hit. The first aircraft over rolls and starts to pull for the turn, realizes that this will get him splashed so he pushes from inverted to get some height. Luckily the aircraft doesn't outside snap. The second aircraft is already pulling around his turn and the pylon catches the outside wing which could pull the aircraft into a stall and snap. Luckily these planes are strong and light with lots of power. Focused flyers!

  • hahah! 0:17

  • just a matter of time...

  • You must construct additional pylons!

  • cant wait for #2

  • lol

  • dude... haha

  • @Brettw500 yeah they need some cannons... that'll make more interesting

  • @Brettw500 haha starcraft! nice! cant wait for starcraft 2 lol

  • @Brettw500 best comment :)

  • @Brettw500 Lol, im surprised that 29 other people actually got that reference besides just me :D

  • Everything they *read*,idiot.

  • rofl

  • A car "toppling over" tends to be regarded as a crash.

  • LOL the Car Crashed

  • between 17 sec and 21 sec is HILARIOUS!

  • did the car crash after hitting pylon?

  • i saw that too i cant tell, but it was funny.
