Not what i was looking for -.- 720x1080 is very bad if using sony vegas, it losses much of its video quality! I whant good video quality so best option would be 1920x1080 but it dosent fit,,,
But, next time when you're uploadng an instructional video, make sure to prioritize the INFO and not your FX BS. I learned nothing from this video until I paused and reversed the video several times.
ADVICE: In an instructional video, try to be clear and pedagogical, DON'T try to show off your fancy FX skills, you'll just piss people off.
Very helpful, but I'd suggest exactly what you said in your info and put annotations in the vid. The text dancing around the screen made it hard to see what you were doing in the background. Thanks though!
hey mind helping me? so on windows movie maker i made a video and i put it as exactly wut u did in ur video. but when i post it onto youtube its like back into a square again!? i wanted it to fit the whole screen =(
Hm... what version are you using? Because if I remember correctly, WMM 2 automatically makes the video fit the screen but WMM 6 doesn't. I'm pretty sure there's an effect you can download for that, though.
Yes, it's possible. In that place where clips are stored [I don't remember if there's a specific name for it], click the video, drag the green&white slider thingie on the video playback whatsitcalled. When it's at the length you wanna cut it at, click the split button [it looks like a film being divided in half] & afterwards, if you want them as actual clips on your computer not just in WMM, put each individual clip on the timeline [one clip at a time] & save the movie files one by one.
Hm...I've never even heard of using Movie Maker to download content from YouTube to begin with. Your best bet is to find an online media converter; try mediaconverter[dot]org, then copy & paste the URL of the video you wanna extract audio from, then choose to convert it to mp3. Finally, download the converted file & you can easily import it in Movie Maker for your video.
HD doesn't work on my mini laptop, would you know how to make it fit just the new screens? Without hd? Just high quality so it fits the entire new screen.
Well,on WMM&Ulead it might work the same as in this tutorial.
As for Sony Vegas, try changing the measurements of the video to something similar, like normal HD would be 1280 by 720 pixels;; an alternative would be to change it to 640 by 360 pixels so it'd likely still fit the widescreen but I don't think it'd be HD.
actually on vegas if the AR is to fit the widescreen and be in HQ it should be 900x480 so it would look better if you used 640x360 it might not come out so great
Not that I know of.I just know how to get the videos to fit the widescreen resolution BEFORE uploading to YouTube. If I do find a way though,I'll let you know.
Ulead generally does take a long time to open on my computer though,I even had to edit out part from that section because of how long it was taking xD;

Then I dunno. =/
I'm pretty sure you'd be able to download WMM 2.6, though. Maybe using that would work.

alarie100 2 years ago

Better to render it as WMV than AVI.

FPS means frames per second. It has something to do with the speed of the frames from one going to another.

Does it use WMM?
keizaku 2 years ago
What do you mean? As in split the video clip into parts, or cropping the video to a certain size?
AsianPsychic 2 years ago
no...
i mean like for example...
a video with longer than an hour...
can we split it into 10 minit each?

What if I have a Youtube video and I only want to extract its audio?
Example: Let's say I like the music in your clip and I only want to extract this music into one of my videos.
Can we do that on Movie Maker?

you dont have to use windows media player to make it 16:9 just disable "maintain aspect ratio" on sony vegas
BROAdWAYexpressN 3 years ago
Huh?I never said you needed to use Windows Media Player at all.I was just demonstrating how to get 16:9 in 3 different movie makers.
AsianPsychic 3 years ago
Now, is there a way to do this without removing my video from youtube? Because I don't want to remove it.
roxxas5 3 years ago

how do u make your videos watch in hd? thats what i need
akbarfamily 3 years ago
Generally,YouTube will detect whether the video can be viewed in HD.
If the video is saved to your computer with a 16:9 aspect ratio,it should be able to be viewed in HD on YouTube. If not, then I'm not fully sure.

MarioKartFan4457 3 years ago
What do you mean?Ehm...all I know is set the aspect ratio to 16:9
AsianPsychic 3 years ago
I mean how do you make an HD video?
MarioKartFan4457 3 years ago
As in how do you get the "watch in HD" option on YouTube or what?
AsianPsychic 3 years ago
Yes, how did you get the "watch in HD"
MarioKartFan4457 3 years ago
Well, you just render the video and upload it,based on how the video was made,YouTube should be able to detect if it can be viewed in HD.
AsianPsychic 3 years ago
FPS..
Frames Per Second
The higher the number.. the smoother the video runs, lower the number, the more the video is jumpy and messed up.
