My Grandma died at 3 :07 this morning, and I have been crying ever since I drove from Palm Springs to Loma Linda to see her at the VA. The worst part was watching my Grandpa try to keep it together over her hospital bed, I could not and broke down. The sadness does not really hit you at once. You think of the good times you had and then you realize that will never happen again, then you think of good times to bury the reality, but it hits even harder the next time.
