  • how do u weigh an item without going to the post office or something to weigh it in

  • We have half sheet labels that are very inexpensive. Printing on adhesive labels is smart if you ship 15 or more packages per week because it saves time so you don't have to bother taping paper onto boxes. You can also be sure that the labels will stay attached to your package and not fall off or tear like paper would. BTW great video, very helpful!

  • its bs that i sold an item last month around the 17th and i get payed on the 11th of THIS month.... dicks. >:( im never using Ebay again.... except for when i buy my pipes... :)

  • @MrGamerman001 :P unlucky, always works for me

  • @MrGamerman001 please help. did you end up printing the shipping label? it's charging me about $15, but I don't want to pay that much. how does it work, do you know?

  • @oelung you dont have to print the shipping label at all. just take it to your post office or local UPS and theyll weigh it and take care of it for you.

  • @MrGamerman001 how do I get paid then? it says payment is complete but "funds are not yet available". Will I still receive my money if I don't print shipping label? sorry for all the questions.

  • @oelung yea you will still get payed. printing the shipping label is just the lazy and more expensive way of shipping it. although it took me like a month before i got payed because it was my first sale. so it will be a while before you get payed. either way.

  • @MrGamerman001 alright, thanks. Some say it's cheaper to print it, some say it's more expensive but I'll find out for myself tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't take a month to receive payment. It says 7 days for those who do it manually and provide tracking info.

  • Great video. Thanks Suzanne!

  • do you absolutely HAVE to print a shipping label? cause i dont have a printer.

  • when i printed my label it cost me $14 why was it so much? my item sold for $100 is there anyway i can print a label for a cheaper price

  • @programedmind i believe that it is only charging you for shipping costs based on how many ounces and what delivery method. the labels are free.

  • sigh so you need a weighing scale to do this. :(

  • now you have to do it on Paypal and u have to confirm 2 bank accounts and a credit card.... wtf??

  • can you print this in color or do you have to print in black in white?

  • @sierraKENZIEstyle Black and white, why would you want to print color?

  • @MrMikerose48 Oh because I only had color ink, it worked! The mail lady said that she would accept anything even faded printing labels, but it has to be a dark blue/purple. (: yeah my mail lady is awesome.

  • So after you print the label paypal will put the money in your account.. or how does that work.

  • @Doradrummer You sell an item on eBay, the buyer pays you the selling price plus the shipping cost, then you print the label and PayPal takes the shipping cost away from the Money you received from the buyer.

  • In the video you mention that shipping labels can get very expensive, I agree with that statement if you purchase from the big box office stores. On our site we sell the 8.5" x 5.5" item OL400WX for $10.45 plus $4.95 shipping this equates to just under .08 cents per label, and if you buy more the 100 sheet the unit price starts to drop. I would encourage low volume sellers to print on paper, but if you sell more than 10 items a day, you should definitely consider blank labels. Great video!

  • Is there a way to get a discount on shipping labels gee! those labels are a bit high.

  • @gese74 On just the shipping label, you can get them free with UPS or Fedex if you sign up, but getting an ebay shipping label to print out from Paypal/ebay, it is always going to cost something, but once you pay for the shipping label, you get free shipping on the package if you place the right package information.-Master_Darc on Ebay

  • @DarkRider Oh, but don't you have to pay a monthly membership fee When signing up to UPS or Fedex in order get free shipping labels from those mailing services? I'd rather not be saddled with monthly charges.

  • my label wont load. please respond

  • @CJHissle If it did not go through, then it won't load. That must be an ebay glitch. I hate those, you may have to pay again. Contact ebay.

  • Thanks so much for your help! OMG you did not now how much this helped! Now I can start my store! LOVE

  • Whats the difference from an ebay shipping label and a homemade label?

  • @xSp3cialty there a lot of them

  • you just pay for the price of the postage for the label? i think ebay get more than enough money for next to nothing! i wouldn't print any label until i got payed in my paypal! but what can i do if i priced the packege too cheap and find out it costs nearly twice the amount that i quoted?

  • @AUTubeN22 Yes, pay for the label. If it is double than you quoted, notify the buyer, and state the information misconception.

  • @DarcRyder kk ty :)

  • whats your rule of thumb on placing insurance on an item?

  • hi i just wanted to know how do you weight a package? like if its a shirt...

  • Do you have to have insurance?

  • How much do they cahrge for the lable to print on normal paper
