@llamaman112 Why you wish to seperate the bands i dont know as they are the same except for Ian Curtis. Those that have a dig at new order are fans of Ian Curtis not Joy Division. Sumner and Hook started the band Joy Division and Sumner named the band Joy Division. Apart from Ian unfortunately not being around its still the same band just with a different name, and both Joy Division and New Order are great and influencial in different ways, Joy Division were actually changing their style a bit
