It won't have, the new cars are more refined, they no longer that old no boost then full boost acceleration, even though the newer turbos are faster, they don't show it.
whoa, have u heard a 996 or 997 gt3 stock? let alone with a kresseig valvetronic catback fitted? oh my lord. the white 996 on kreisseigs site is unforgettable. Natural aspiration is where its at, especially porsche, gt3 is the ultimate drivers car. turbos muffle sound and pop, n/a u get those rich sounds all the way to 9k rpm. just aint the same with a hairdryer attached. ahhhhhh GT3's.......
guys at fabspeed, u make a quality product for a quality car such as porsche!
i only hope to keep the quality standards unchanged, cuz u rock people....
i m buying a used 2007 porsche 997 turbo on a great condition this week with 30000 miles on it, i intentially pushed the dealer to cut more money off the price so i can afford the perfomance package with ECU upgrade, wait for my car guys, i m so freakin happy!
Pakunish congratulations on the purchase of the 997 Turbo. It's an outstanding performer out of the box, but with some minor upgrades, we can have that turbo pushing 550HP/575ft-lbs of torque.
my uncle has a 911 SC that used to back fire a lot off throttle. however, the problem was the airbox. after changing out the airbox it back fires a lot less. Anyways, that 930 does sound pretty good, and I was just wondering about the sounds.
The WRC-car-like popping & crackling on the overrun is exaggerated by the exhaust system - a 'Zork Tube' which (according to Fabspeed's web site) is just a short pipe coming directly off the turbocharger (i.e. no rearbox or silencer); removal of the airpump system also exaggerates the noise!
Great sounds!!! Mine is black, Gawd I love this car in Guards Red!!! I'm more of a traditionalist though, I prefer the Big Bug-Eye look. Very beautiful car you have there though. Congrats, and keep the videos coming.

Sounds awesome, great car..

Billayles, we have a 2010 997.2 Turbo in the shop right now and it still does not have the "raw" demeanor that this Slantnose posesses.

Sign of the times.

Love that sound, so unique and distinct. The burbling and popping sounds like thunder...

thanx for the comment inkinsakoptata, this 911 Turbo is my favorite because of that "raw" sound from the single k27

that popping would be cool for like a day at most. daily driver? hell nah. but god slantnose's are soooo sick. they shoulda made more.
APontiacof455cubes 3 years ago
haha what's the matter with the popping? And by the way this setup is our daily driver and sounds better than any of the new 911's
