Hey Aussieduck, just want to thank you in a major way for posting this clip. It truly is a lost classic. I hope that because of you it will begin to gather the recognition it has always deserved. Cheers man :)
I live in the same town as Mike Coleman ( Stroud U.K.) and worked with him on Now Gloucestershire magazine from1996 to 1997. He was a great bloke with a very dry sense of humour enjoyed by all. He is missed. R.I.P. Mike
Unfortunately, Mike Colman, who was our singer , violinist/guitarist, and main songwriter, has just died. He had been ill for some time, following a bout of severe pneumonia in 2003, when he lost 2/3 of his lung capacity. He was given 18 months to live, which has turned out to be 7 years. A few days before he died, he saw the video on YouTube, for the first time! He was really happy to see it after all these years.
That is very sad to hear Chris. I'm glad he got to see the clip again. Through his music he got to reach a lot of us and we will always be grateful to him him being a part of our lives. That song makes me smile everytime.
Oh, that is so awesome to see again. I lived at North Sydney and I had pretty much the same reception as you...so it looks just like I remember! Thanks Aussieducks!

God I love the 21st century. I got the 45 after seeing this clip on Countdown. Didn't expect to ever see it again.

Mike was my neighbour; he was a great musician and it was sad to see his health decline. Rest in peace Mike.
