One look at him and you know he is ailing even here. Just makes the achievement even greater. It's true others created styles but no one recreated music so often or successfully. He remained controversial and outspoken until the end ... he had such an assurance of his own ideas that he was able to flaut every rule ... a god of music in human form. Who comes close to him?
Miles!!!! This was the strongest time period after his comback. Chops-wise he was one it!!! 1983-84 was a real high point...after that Miles was going through alot health issues...but I always loved his musiciality, spirit and intrepidness. He was always the baddess cat on the stage...
Can anyone remember when Miles traded his hat to MC Hammer for some harem pants? Clothes were more important than music for Miles, he had to appear cool.
A "brother" would know that your comment was bullshit. Miles was ahead of the game musically and with clothing. In that so-called famous 1959 "So What" clip Miles wasn't wearin a tie. That was a big thing back in that era. And if you saw that YouTube vid of Miles at the 1982 Grammy's he wasn't wearin a tux like everyone including the camera-man, because he ain't square like a chessboard. Were you wearing Dockers when you wrote that?
No, I know this is Star People. I was talking the entire concert, this is the last video. I was just saying the Jean Pierre was really good; I don't remember which video that was. Viva la Miles Davis!!!!

1982! If you want to be funny at least be chronologically correct. Fuck a suit. Miles stopped wearin them in 1968.

Excellent concert. Jean Pierre was brillant. This music is still, 25 years later, way ahead its time.
