@skeezerzz the guy said he though it was a female. Obviously not. He nibbled on his fin and my first mandarin is easily twice the size of this new one. He acts like hes doing fine. But i will eventually put him in my ten gallon but first i want a refugium for it. At first i thought they would be fine because they didnt fight. Its sad.... my tank is almost cycled so it wont be long. Its already cycled more in the last two hours.

@skeezerzz Yeah i did. That doesnt work. its still a new tank. It cycles faster with live sand and live rock. Which i just put in.

@skeezerzz Put it in two days ago. I told you it was going to be a hospital tank and if i put live rock in their, copper would kill off everything and just make it really expensive base rock

@skeezerzz Forgot to video it. Was to mad at my mandarin. So now i am facing a decision. I cannot really find a refugium that will work for my 10 gallon so. im thinking i need to buy just a regular 30-45 gallon tank that is under $100. Then get a 5 gallon fuge to put on back. I wouldnt have to buy any filters or protein skimmers for the tank, only need 30-45 lbs of live sand and 20-30 lbs of live rock, already have 15. I just dont think i can sustain a mandarin in a 10 gallon. So its either i s

@skeezerzz sell the new mandarin or invest in a new tank. My mom doesnt like me selling my fish. So i think i might be able to convince her to get a cheap 30-45 gallon tank. I will know by tomorrow.

@skeezerzz Idk she thinks its mean and the mandarin wasnt cheap. My clownfish and tang are fighting so if i catch the tang hes gone. Tang has a small bite mark out of his fin and the tang hits the clownfish with its tail. I might get a jbj nano cube 28 gallon and put a 5 gallon fuge on the back.

@28GallonBowfront I really suggest upgrading to a bigger tank it's not expensive if you craigslist it most even give you supplies.

@skeezerzz I dont like tangs anyway. only the purple ones. He was part of the algae control. im going to keep my 28 gallon running tho with everything in it except tang.Mandarin is fat and happy ( and really dominate) and the corals are all doing great. I just dont want to sell this new mandarin. but in order to do that i need a bigger tank. I will stop by my LFS tomorrow and probably make a purchase.I want a 50 gallon so i can put a female blue mandarin with the male spotted.Imake sure its girl
